OUR COTTAGE
Welcome to our cozy log cabin in Ylläsjärvi! The double house is a traditional Finnish cottage with excellent location for cross-country skiing and hiking. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet. The recently renovated cottage includes a living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 lofts, kitchen, sauna, bathroom and separate toilet. There is a beautiful mountain view from the bedroom, kitchen and sauna. It is also possible to rent our hot tub from May to October.
Welcome to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lapland at our lovely cottage: In summer, watch the midnight sun at the terrace or from the hot tub and in the winter, the dancing northern lights in the sky.

The cottage sleeps 6 adults or up to 8, but it is also suitable for a couple. The cottage is well equipped for families travelling with children, including a baby cot, high chair and potty. By arrangement, it is also possible to have access to a Thule trolley for 2 children and other outdoor equipment such as skis.
BEDROOMS
The cottage has two bedrooms. One has a 160 cm wide double bed, the other has 2 separate 80 cm wide beds that can be combined into a double bed.
LIVING ROOM
The living room has a 2x2.5 m corner sofa, with plenty of room to relax. There is a cosy fireplace in front of the sofa and a TV in the corner of the living room.
LOFT FOR TELEWORK
The teleworking loft has an adjustable desk and a separate monitor. The height of the loft is about 175 cm.
HOT TUB
We rent our hot tub with beautiful view to the mountains from May to October. The hot tub fits 4-6 persons.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is recently
modernised. It has a dishwasher, induction cooker, microwave, full-size fridge-freezer and Finnish design tableware for 8 people.
Sauna
The renovated sauna has beautiful mountain view. The electric stove heats up in less than half an hour. The modernly renovated washroom has its own toilet.
LOFT FOR SLEEPING
The spacious sleeping loft has three 80 cm wide beds, which can be combined into a double bed if required. The loft also has two 80 cm wide separat mattresses, which can be used as extra beds if required.
DINING AREA
The dining area offers a direct view of the Ylläs mountain. The table can easily seat 6 adults. A high chair can be attached to the end table.
Separate toilet
The separate toilet has a washing machine and an efficient drying cabinet.
TERRACE
The dining area has access to a small covered terrace with a beautiful view of Yllästunturi. From the terrace you can admire the sunset or the sun at night.

The cottage has a quiet location at the end of a private road. However, outdoor trails run nearby - a class I cross-country skiing trail 20 m from the house. Summer trails can also be accessed directly from the yard, and the paths lead to the marked outdoor trails, which start at Aurinkotupa Café.
There is an electric heating pole for a car in front of the cottage.
Aurinkotupa café is about 1 km from the cottage, Eelin kauppa (small grocery store) about 5 km and Ylläsjärvi ski resort about 9 km.
Kotarova bus stop approx. 2 km, Kolari train station approx. 33 km, Kittilä airport approx. 41 km.

We have wanted to make it possible for you to rent our cottage when we are unable to use it ourselves. You can book our cottage either by contacting us directly by phone/email, using the contact form or via Nettimökki.fi.
BOOKINGS
During high season periods, the changeover day is usually Saturday or Sunday. At other times, shorter bookings (minimum 3 days) are also possible.
Weekly prices vary according to season: summer weeks from €450, spring weeks including final cleaning €1250 (see price list below). Final cleaning and linen can be ordered at an extra cost if required, 80 €/cleaning, 25 €/linen set. Extra fee for pets 50 €.
We rent our hot tub from May to October for 150 €/day or 200 €/2 days. You need to fill and warm the water yourselves.
